New trailers and panels for major releases featured at Comic-Con 2013

Comic-Con means major panels in the big halls and building buzz for releases we won’t even see until next year. Two of the most anticipated panels this weekend are for The Amazing Spider-man 2 and Robocop, and unlike many panels, these have been released by the studios for redistribution.  So first check out a 10-minute edited version of the full panel for The Amazing Spider-man 2 here, with stars Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx:

The Amazing Spider-man 2 hits theaters May 2, 2014.

Here is the panel footage released for the 2014 reboot of RoboCop, featuring co-stars Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson:

RoboCop is scheduled to be released in theaters February 7, 2014.

As movie fans expect, studios have previewed several new Comic-Con exclusive, extended movie trailers for bigger upcoming releases with sci-fi or superhero tie-ins.  Two of those are R-Rated expanded trailers for Riddick and Kickass 2.  Cover the kids’ ears and check out these new trailers, first for Kickass 2:

That bit about Hit Girl as Robin really makes you think Chloë Moretz would have been an interesting choice for Robin in a live action version of The Dark Knight Returns.

Next up is the preview released this weekend at Comic-Con for Riddick, and if this doesn’t get you interested in the movie, then nothing will:

Also just released is a (pretty gruesome) well-made motion comic for Riddick: Rule the Dark, featuring the voice of Vin Diesel:

Kickass 2 is scheduled for an August 16, 2013 release, and Riddick and the motion comic Riddick: Rule the Dark have a September 6, 2013 release in theaters, including IMAX.
