SDCC 2015 News–Dark and bleak, it’s another trailer for Snyder’s Batman v Superman

Batman in spider hole

From the first three previews we’ve now seen from 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we’re reminded about how well Marvel Studios adapts superheroes to movies compared to DC Entertainment.  DC Entertainment has the right stuff when it comes to television series, and maybe that’s what they should stick to.  Zack Snyder’s latest trailer was released this afternoon in San Diego at SDCC 2015, and it’s full of all that Snyder is known for.

For Snyder fans, that’s great.  For others… next trailer, please.

Superman that looks like a villain.  Batman with a suit that takes us back to George Clooney’s Batman in Batman and Robin.  A puzzling casting decision with Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.  A barely seen Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.  And not a shred of humor or fun to be seen.  Superman’s troops are uniformed like World War II Germans.  Batman is portrayed like Saddam Hussein being pulled out of his spider hole in the desert.  In one word: uninspired.  What is DC thinking?

Check it out for yourself:

Someone, please let Joss Whedon make the next DC universe movie.  Please?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, hits theaters March 25, 2016.

  1. Ow. This trailer is PAINFUL! Marvel does this stuff SO much better!

Although, with the new FF film to hit theaters soon, how much longer will we be able to say that about Marvel? If they start following DC’s line of film making, storytelling, and the like…good comic book films may become a thing of the past all together. Unless there is something good waiting in the wings which I am not aware of, that is.
