More SDCC 2020–Nathan Fillion talks Buffy, Castle, Firefly, and The Rookie with familiar faces

Nathan Fillion–with a moustache?  One of the more interesting panels from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and one certainly not to miss for Browncoats everywhere is a panel devoted exclusively to the star of Firefly, Castle, and The Rookie.  It’s definitely one of those atypical panels (even for 2020) like we saw Fillion host back in the days of Nerd HQ, this time with added wacky editing and Fillion stepping in to provide commentary along the way.  That’s right, Fillion has enough pop culture street cred to get a panel to himself.  But he also knows how to share the stage.

Fillion discusses not only his time on Firefly, but he also looks back to his years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and his current series The Rookie.  And if you haven’t heard of it before, Joss Whedon discusses the “never-ending” email thread of the Firefly cast members.

Joss Whedon, Alan Tudyk, and Gina Torres, talk Firefly and other things.  Seamus Dever, Jon Huertas, and Molly C. Quinn stop by to chat about Fillion’s other popular star vehicle, Castle.  And Mekia Cox joins in to talk about The Rookie.

So bookmark this link, but make sure you don’t miss it.  Expect to see Nathan Fillion next when he returns with Season 3 of The Rookie, expected to arrive next year.
