Catitude — Camilla d’Errico returns with the ultimate pop manga cat book

Over the past 20 years adult coloring books have taken on a legitimate niche in the book market.  Coloring books have been shown to be a way to manage stress, to remove yourself from a technology-filled world in ways similar to meditation.  From time to time we like to recommend some of the best we’ve seen to borg readers (some can be found here).  Vancouver-based artist Camilla d’Errico, known for her painted comic book art, designs, and commercial projects for Disney, Dark Horse, Image, Hot Topic, and Hasbro, delivered with her Pop Manga Beauties and Beasties Coloring Book (discussed here).  Now she’s back with a coloring book with even more fantasy fun art.  The Pop Manga Catitude Coloring Book, just out from publisher Watson-Guptill and available here at Amazon, is the ultimate gift for your favorite cat lover.

Like most adult coloring books, this one will certainly appeal to kids of all ages.  We have a look inside the book for borg readers, courtesy of the publisher.

With crayons or markers you can bring to life eighty pages of d’Errico’s black and white sketches of manga-inspired cats in all sorts of situations, from cute kittens to snarky adult cats full of their own catitude.  We’ve always found d’Errico’s artwork reminiscent of the Serendipity fantasy book series from the 1970s by Stephen Cosgrove and Robin James.

Fans of d’Errico’s past works have seen her cat creations before, but never before have they been in the spotlight like this.

Recommended for all cat lovers, the Pop Manga Catitude Coloring Book is available now here at Amazon.  d’Errico fans will also not want to miss her other books Pop Manga Beauties and Beasties (reviewed here) and Pop Manga Stickerology (reviewed here).
