Zombies, zombies everywhere. It’s all thanks to George A. Romero and the resurgence via television adaptation of The Walking Dead comic book series. But zombie stories show no signs of stopping. The latest has the very Romero-esque title of We Bury the Dead. It stars Star Wars icon Daisy Ridley as a woman desperately seeking her missing husband after a zombie apocalypse. The first trailer is here, and it looks like it could be a blend of the streaming series The Last of Us and the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin movie Maggie.
The movie co-stars Mark Coles Smith (Mystery Road: Origin), Brenton Thwaites, and Matt Whelan. Filmed in Australia, it comes from writer-director Zak Hilditch. Check out the trailer for We Bury the Dead:
