Dungeons & Dragons– A guide for drinks on game night

Review by C.J. Bunce

We’ve seen cocktail recipe guides inspired by your favorite movies (two actually), and even one inspired by Star Trek.  So why not one inspired by Dungeons & Dragons?  Tomorrow Ten Speed Press is publishing Puncheons and Flagons: The Official Dungeons & Dragons Cocktail Book.  It’s available for pre-order now here at Amazon.  Andrew Wheeler came up with 75 themed cocktails and bar bites for adult gamers.  Take a peek inside the book below.

Concoctions are organized by in-universe drinking establishment and by base ingredient.  All are adaptable to your game, whether a tavern, inn, or market, in whatever corner of the Realms you’re adventuring into.  Themed drinks include the Necromancer, Hand of Vecna, Candlekeep Tea, and Faerie Fire.  The book also includes some non-alcoholic concoctions, like the Baldurian Tonic.

The look has the same top-quality design you’d expect from the franchise, and this cookbook looks just like your smaller-sized D&D tie-in books.  It’s a seven by nine-inch hardcover volume with all the design elements of a manual or supplement.
