The eighth movie in the Predator franchise is coming later this year.  After the 2022 Hulu prequel story Prey, it’s back to theaters with 20th Century Studios and director Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands.  The studio has released less early information about this entry than the last.  One source reports Elle Fanning is in a dual role playing twins, and another says she is a Weyland-Yutani cyborg synthetic, drawing from the Alien-Predator crossover movies from more than 20 years ago.  The movie co-stars Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as an outcast Predator.

Maybe it’s time to get caught up on the best of the bunch, Predator (1987), and lesser sequels, Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010), The Predator (2018), and Prey (2022), plus the crossover movies Aliens vs Predator (2010) and Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007).

Look for Predator: Badlands coming to theaters November 7, 2025.
