We’re interested in all things science fiction, fantasy, movies, TV, action, dramas, suspense, comics, other books–fiction and non-fiction, and the next great thing in science and technology. Like our readers, we don’t limit ourselves to the sci-fi/fantasy genre. We also review video games, toys, prop replicas, behind the scenes offerings, nostalgia, advance review copies of books (ARCs), hats, movies, TV series pilots, toys, or anything else that sounds interesting to us and our readers… we get a lot of great and crazy stuff here… the sky (or outer space?) is the limit.
At borg our staff writers have maintained credentialed press or professional status with the national and regional convention circuit (including shows like San Diego Comic-Con, Wizard World, WonderCon, Planet Comicon, and Kansas City Comic Con). Our staff includes an internationally acclaimed award-winning author, other professional writers, an actor, a lawyer, and communications professionals with backgrounds in journalism, entertainment writing, convention planning, communications, and business management.
I’ve been reviewing entertainment news since 1988. If you don’t like the critics, like you find at Rotten Tomatoes and all those rumor-filled websites–all who answer to some corporate parent–then turn here for your genre news. We answer to no one. We just want good entertainment, and when we see it we want to share it with our readers. It’s that simple.
