Not just a great photo, it’s a screengrab from next year’s “based on true events” Australian 1972-era surfer film, Drift.   Like the Beach Boys Endless Summer album or watching the Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer documentaries, this should get you thinking about warm again.  And doesn’t this film, starring Sam Worthington (Avatar, Terminator: Salvation, Clash of the Titans), look a bit like the Heath Ledger/Emile Hirsch skateboard biopic, Lords of Dogtown?  If it’s like that flick, this could be a good one.
