If you’re like us and you happened to see the new TV spot during the Olympics interspersing Olympians with the superheroes in the April release Captain America: The Winter Soldier, you might have thought the commercial a bit cringeworthy.
Sometimes studios try too hard. In this case the result just doesn’t work.
But this looks to be one of the better Marvel Studios entries in the Avengers franchise. So instead check out this full-length trailer, released last week, laying out general story elements and characters:
Not much longer to wait, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is in theaters April 4, 2014.

Actually its me again. Is it Lux Aeterna (sp?) … the song that’s so associated with Requiem for a Dream? Thanks again.
Kristen, I don’t think it’s Lux Aeterna, the music used for the battle background in the trailer for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. But it builds the same way… same meter… same phrasing. It sounds to me like a rock ballad from a recent band. Haven’t been able to place it yet! I don’t think it is from the movie score.
