Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and White House Plumbers actor Kiernan Shipka returns next month in a horror-comedy coming to Prime Video just in time for Halloween. She stars in Totally Killer, the next movie from Blumhouse, the studio that changed the vibe of horror movies, taking 1980s-style stories and delivering them with a comedy edge. The latest is billed as Back to the Future meets Scream, but it looks like the next installment of Blumhouse fun that includes box office wins Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U, Freaky and M3GAN, and soon to deliver Five Nights at Freddy’s.
23-year-old Shipka plays 17-year-old Jamie Hughes, who travels back in time to work with her mother to stop a serial killer before he begins his crime spree. It has the fantasy elements and even the creepy masks of Happy Death Day, and looks like it will have similar twists and turns. Marvel’s Randall Park plays a sheriff in the movie.
