Something good, something bad, maybe a bit of both.  San Diego Comic-Con 2024 has come and gone, and for us it’s an excuse for another latest episode of Trailer Park.  Today as everyone settles back into the work week, you can enjoy–or be puzzled by–a few dozen trailers from this year’s event.  We’ve included the Hall H Marvel Studios panel, which revealed Robert Downey, Jr.’s return to Marvel–this time as Doctor Doom–and you might want to watch that before it’s taken down, which happens to most SDCC panels on YouTube.  Reveals from Marvel mogul Kevin Feige indicate the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be getting a good boost starting with this weekend’s box office win for Deadpool & Wolverine.  Coming next will be 2025 releases Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts, followed by Phase VI with The Fantastic Four: First Steps also in 2025, Avengers: Doomsday in 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.  Unfortunately that’s what we were all waiting for trailers from, but no such luck.

But the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is looking better and better, especially with its use of its record-making TV budget.  Along with Marvel, DC is keeping busy, but primarily on the small screen.  The Walking Dead will find more series coming, Paramount unveiled three Star Trek trailers, and much more is here, with something for everyone.
