The Guide to The Orville–Dark Horse offers new in-universe guide to the show

Review by C.J. Bunce

First previewed here at borg, the first comic book story from the universe of television’s The Orville came from Dark Horse Comics.  The publisher is back with a new look at the show in The Guide to The Orville, written by series producer Andre Bormanis.   Unlike The World of The Orville, which we reviewed here at borg a few years ago, this book presents nearly 200 pages covering lore from all three seasons of the show in an in-universe style, including ship logs from Captain Mercer himself.

We haven’t heard much about any future for the series lately–it’s sort of in that place fans of Firefly saw their series before it came back as a movie–so it’s good to know someone at the studio is still thinking about The Orville.

The full-color, hardcover book promises technical detail, interstellar history, and character biographies from the series.

The Guide to The Orville is available to order now here at Amazon.
