A Minecraft Movie–One more week until franchise takes on the box office

If you loved Jumanji and Jumanji: A Next Level, you’re probably going to want to watch what looks like film three of the Jack Black in Gameland live-action trilogy. A film based on the 2011 international video game sensation has been in the works for more than a decade. And it’s almost here. A Minecraft Movie finally arrives in theaters in one week. It’s no surprise the actor who started out as the kid in the Atari 2600 Pitfall video game commercial (along with playing Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Claptrap in the Borderlands tie-in movie) is tapped for what could be the biggest video game tie-in movie of them all.
