The first movie in its franchise, 2013’s Now You See Me (reviewed here at borg), delivered an all-star cast in a story following a group of magicians who rob from the rich in a series of heists and give their proceeds to their big Vegas-style show audiences. A sequel in 2016 brought back the group, called The Four Horsemen, taking them to London and a New Year’s Eve finale. Nine years later, the magicians are returning with a famous jewel as the subject of the heist in Now You See Me, Now You Don’t.

The Four Horsemen–Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Jesse Eisenberg–are all back along with Morgan Freeman as their leader, plus newcomers Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt. Ruben Fleischer takes over directing duties from Louis Leterrier and Jon M. Chu.
