Having Michael Peña in your movie just makes it better. His absence from Ant-Man: Quantumania left a big gap for fans of the movie series. He’s the lead in his next film, a biopic of NASA space shuttle Discovery mission specialist José Hernández, an engineer on the STS-128 mission to the International Space Station. A Million Miles Away hails from Amazon Studios and heads to Prime Video next month. Peña is always good as the everyman underdog hero going back to Homicide: Life on the Street, and the movie’s trailer reveals the story of a migrant worker working his way up, like the students in Kevin Costner’s McFarlandUSA, one of our favorite movies of the past decade.
Directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella, the movie co-stars Rosa Salazar, Garret Dillehunt, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Veronica Falcón, and Michelle Krusiec. Check out this trailer for A Million Miles Away:
