If you’ve noticed Archie Comics over the past decade it’s probably because of the talent of writer-artist Dan Parent. Everything you know about Archie and Riverdale this century has kept the same look and feel of a comic that’s been enjoyed for 85 years in part because of comic book creators like Parent. He and a dozen other creators including Bob Smith, Jack Morelli, Glenn Whitmore, Andrew Pepoy, Jason Millet, and Samm Schwartz came together to create Archie & Friends Space Adventures, a one-shot 30-page comic following Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead as they embark on a rocket that Dilton built, taking them where no teenager has gone before. And the spaceship works… until it doesn’t, and they find themselves lost in space.
