It’s always a good time for another Jason Statham movie, right?  Whether it’s Statham’s bravado under director John Carpenter in Ghosts of Mars, that cocky hero in three Transporter movies, the master thief of The Italian Job and The Bank Job or the badass in The Fast and the Furious, The Expendables, and The Meg franchises, Donald E. Westlake’s lead in Parker, or the dozen single-word action flicks like Collateral, Cellular, Revolver, Snatch, Crank, Safe, Redemption, and Shelter, with A Working Man, The Beekeeper and Fast X his latest hits.  Next up he must rescue victims of human trafficking on the high seas.

It definitely has a 1990s Under Siege vibe.  Co-starring Adrian Lester and Annabelle Wallace and directed by Jean-François Richet, Mutiny comes to theaters August 21, 2026.
