A new series on Paramount+ will be taking the world of Avatar beyond Avatar: The Last Airbender, beyond the new Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender movie, and even beyond The Legend of Korra. Avatar: Seven Havens is an animated series featuring Pavi (performed by Saheli Khan), a young Earthbender living in the city of Ellora, who discovers she is the next Avatar after Korra. An apocalypse devastates the world and a resulting seven pillars of civilization arise–it is up to the new Avatar to save them, yet Avatars are feared in this future story. Pavi is accompanied in her trials by her twin Nisha (voiced by Aishu Devan), Airbender Jai (voiced by Major Kurda), and their pet cat-monkeys Geet and Ruhi (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).
The series will be divided into two “books” of 13 episodes each. Original Nickelodeon series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino are behind the project via Nickelodeon’s newly created Avatar Studios. French animation studio La Chouette Compagnie created the series with the legendary artist Moebius as a key influence.
