We’ve already seen a few scenes from this summer’s eagerly-awaited follow up to 2012’s successful Avengers, and now we have another look inside the film thanks to the latest trailer. This time we get to see a glimpse of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch and a large part of what appears to be a key action sequence.
Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye–they all are part of a giant smash ’em up with cybernetic foe Ultron.

Um, first, The Avengers came out in 2012. Second, I really hope you called Clint Barton Hawkman to be funny. He’s not DC’s Hawkman at all.
Third…WOW!!! This trailer is super cool. Super scary cool. It looks like the Hulk’s rampage is the Scarlet Witch’s doing after all (his left eye is a little red in one of the last scenes at the end of the trailer; this could be because he was punched but it might be seen as a visible sign that Wanda bewitched him). And that scene with Black Widow on a table and all those scalpels and stuff? Totally creepy! I should have known the earlier shots of surgical tools had something to do with her past, but I never thought of it before. Oh, well, now I know for sure.

I guess the Avengers’ infighting IS in fact due to the Scarlet Witch getting inside everybody’s head. I wonder if she’ll be able to get in Hawkeye’s head, since Loki did that in the last film. Maybe Hawkeye will be immune to her hypnosis powers because of what Loki did to him before. That would be a very interesting twist to the story!
