Minsc & Boo–Dynamic Dungeons & Dragons Duo takes center stage this week

Yes, they’re back.  Get ready for the third installment of the Baldur’s Gate video game with adventures featuring some of Dungeons & Dragon’s most beloved characters: ranger Minsc, and his miniature-giant space hamster Boo.  After decades spent in magical stasis, Minsc and Boo awaken in a Baldur’s Gate that is very different from the one they knew, but there will always be evil in need of smiting!  It’s all in the new IDW Publishing one-shot issue, Dungeons & Dragons: The Best of Minsc & Boo, including Boo off on his own adventure.

While they’re perfectly capable of kicking the butt of badness to the Spine of the World and back on their own, it never hurts to have a little help from their companions, the rest of the Baldur’s Gate heroes.  Now, say it with us: “Go for the eyes, Boo!”

Written by Jim Zub, with artwork divvied up between four stories created by Max Dunbar, Nelson Daniel, Dean Kotz, and Francesco Mortarino, the book brings back all the heroes of Baldur’s Gate: not-Neera, Nerys, Kridle, Shandie, and Krigar–all Specialists in Amazing.

If there was any group of characters to begin a live-action D&D movie or series, it’s this gang.  Add Dungeons & Dragons: The Best of Minsc & Boo now to your pull list at Elite Comics or your local comic shop.  It’s in stores this week.
