Everything that could be said has been said about Stan the Man, in books and documentaries including some reviewed here at borg like Superheroes: A Never Ending Battle, and With Great Power… The Stan Lee Story, telling his story with archival footage and interviews with Stan himself. The latest look at Stan Lee is coming from the current home of Marvel Comics and the empire now called the Marvel Cinematic Universe–that’s of course Disney–and this Friday its streaming service Disney+ launches the documentary titled simply Stan Lee.
So has everything been said about Stan Lee or not? What more can possibly be said about the man, the myth, the legend… that hasn’t already been said?
What more is there? Here’s the trailer for the documentary Stan Lee:
From the origin of some of the best known superheroes of all time, to Marvel’s bankruptcy, to the return and Disney purchase, to the sadness surrounding his life in his final years, the press sure seems to have covered every corner of his life.
