The world is waiting for a turnaround from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  What better character to turn around the slump in the Multiverse than Loki?  Tom Hiddleston’s odd villain is likely the most popular villain in all of the MCU.  He’s also one of the best.  Some time travel, some time loops, some linear knots, maybe some fixed points in time, or, what Marvel is calling them now apparently: canon points–Loki looks like it will have a bit of everything.  How about just giving us another Wolverine movie with the X-Men–we’ll take the first team or the second team.  Until we see that or another Fantastic Four movie, fingers will be crossed around the globe that the second season of Loki will bring some excitement back to comic book adaptations.

Actors for Season 2 include Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, and Neil Ellice, reprising their roles from the first season, and new actors joining the MCU are Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan.

It’s almost here.  The second season of Loki begins October 6, 2023, streaming on Disney+.
