Long-running Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series wraps with 150th issue

Go to your local comic book shop this week if you want to get in on the end of the era, the final issue of the long running Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles monthly.  Of course, it’s not THE end of it all, which we sort of saw in The Last Ronin.  It’s the comics pages where characters don’t ever die, even if they appear to.  And when you add time travel, parallel Earths, alternate histories, and everything in-between, anything can–and will–happen.

If you haven’t been keeping up on the TMNT, its finale, Issue #150, is enough to get anyone wanting to see what’s been missed.  But the end here is the beginning for the Turtles in other ways.  For the brand’s 40th anniversary, IDW Publishing is introducing a year of new comic book series.  The TMNT Sourcebook is available at comic shops (and here at Amazon) now, along with TMNT: The Last Ronin II–Re-Evolution, available hereTMNT: The Untold Destiny of the Foot Clan is out, too (available here).  Previously here we previewed Black, White, and Green, TMNT/Usagi Yojimbo: Saturday Morning Adventures, Nightwatcher, Alpha, and Mutant Nation.  It’s going to be a big year.

Check out a preview below, along with variant covers, for Issue #150 of the tent pole TMNT series of the past 12 years, a double-sized issue with Donatello leading the way in a sci-fi, time travel series wind-up.

Catch up on back issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the final Issue #150 at Elite Comics or your local comic shop.  And look for these and more coming from TMNT this year from IDW Publishing.
