Another season of Daredevil?

As we get closer to the fourth season of TV featuring the Daredevil–the second season of the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again–we now have a teaser preview for the show.  And it looks like more of the same.  Isn’t it time to shuffle these characters back into the Spider-Man story?  Charlie Cox seems so far to have been held back as Matt Murdock, and so has Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin.  For personality we’ve had to look to his partner, Eldon Henson’s Foggy Nelson, or to guest star Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher–both are back in this new season (Foggy most likely in flashback).  All those Netflix series together were more promising for this New York-centric band of characters, including Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple, and Bernthal as Castle.  A ray of light arrived with Cox guest-starring on She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law.  Will this new season remember that more charismatic–more fun–take on the character?

Fortunately the promise is in its expected new cast members: Krysten Ritter back as Jessica Jones, Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor as new yet to be disclosed characters, plus at least a few episodes more with Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle.

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again streams on Disney+ March 24, 2026.
