The next women-led action thriller is billed as coming from one of the producers of Atomic Blonde and Bullet Train, but it looks more like a mash-up of Abigail, Black Swan, and Ready or Not, or Pride and Prejudice and Zombies meets Karen Gillan’s dance fighter from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Any one of those references would be good enough to check out MGM-Amazon Studios’ Pretty Lethal, coming to your TV this month.

It’s about a ballet troupe heading to competition who end up trapped and pursued by some baddies led by Uma Thurman, and it stars Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Iris Apatow, Maddie Ziegler, and Avantika. Will we get to see Thurman back in some Kill Bill stylings, too?
This one will be here soon. Check out this trailer for Pretty Lethal:
Who knew there was going to be an expanding sub-genre of ballet horror? It’s directed by Vicky Jewson and written by Kate Freund. Look for Pretty Lethal on Prime Video March 25, 2026.
