Last seen as Wednesday Addams’ mom in the Wednesday Netflix series, Catherine Zeta-Jones is getting her own action series and it’s coming to AMC+ in the U.S. and Prime Video in the UK next month.  In Kill Jackie, Zeta-Jones plays Jackie Price, a former cocaine dealer who has been selling art to launder her money.  She wakes up to find she’s the target of a group of hitmen, but instead of running and hiding she uses her old connections to track them down one by one before they get to her.  The first trailer for the eight-part series looks a lot like The Gentlemen.  And it goes beyond starring The Gentlemen co-star Daniel Ings looking like he’s playing the exact same disturbed character.  Zeta-Jones looks and–with her accent–sounds like she could be a future version of The Gentlemen co-star Kaya Scodelario.  Why not?

The title seems on-point, too, as it’s directed by Killing Eve director Damon Thomas.  A little FUBAR?  A little Keeley Hawes’ The Assassin?  Check out this trailer for Kill Jackie:
