Start the year off with toys from your favorite fantasy movie and TV show.  We’re a little more than halfway through the first season of the new Willow series on Disney+ and loving the fantasy tropes Lucasfilm is dabbling in for the return of Willow Ufgood, the famed “greatest sorcerer of all time,” and Elora Danan, whose prophecy stretches beyond taking down Bavmorda.  Proving itself up to the task of adapting both the original 1988 movie and the new series into classic Kenner-style 3 3/4-inch action figures is toy company Super 7, and toy lines from both shows are now available for pre-order here at Amazon and here at Entertainment Earth.

The Willow movie line has five figures in its new Wave 2: young Willow with sword, Madmartigan, Sorsha, General Kael, and Bavmorda.  An earlier set of figures (Wave 1) is still available here at the Disney website, including Willow with baby Elora, and costume variants of the other four figures.

Yes, you can mix and match your classic Star Wars playsets and have Willow ride a Rancor into the Ewok village, or storm Bavmorda teaming up with Darth Vader in the Death Star, or have Madmartigan duel the Mandalorian in the Mos Eisley cantina.  The possibilities are almost limitless.

The Willow series line has six figures: old man Willow with staff, Elora Danan aka Dove with magic wand, Sorsha’s daughter Kit, warrior Jade, possessed Commander Ballentine, and The Gales’ Scourge in his head cage.

The sculpts, especially for the series figures, look great, considering the Super 7 ReAction figure line is known more for nostalgia than exacting detail.
