Adrian Molina, the writer-director of Disney-Pixar’s Coco, returns seven years later, following up Disney-Pixar’s animated science fiction exploration movie Lightyear with another.  Pixar’s 28th animated movie is called Elio.  Elio, voiced by young actor Yonas Kibreab, is a little kid who becomes the unlikely ambassador to Planet Earth when he is abducted by aliens.  The first trailer is out and it looks to have the vibe of  The Last Starfighter, Explorers, Contact, and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (Elio now/Elliott back then, can’t be a coincidence, right?).

Not many details have been released yet, but other actors voicing characters include Brad Garrett and America Ferrera.  Check out this trailer for Disney-Pixar’s Elio:
