Tales of the Empire arrives for May the Fourth 2024

If you blinked you could have easily overlooked 2022’s Tales of the Jedi, six animated Star Wars episodes from Dave Filoni that continued the style and substance of his Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.  That quick series featured stories of Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, and Mace Windu in an anthology format–short films filling in some gaps in the corners of the post-prequels galaxy of stories.  The second part of that anthology of short films will be delivered by Lucasfilm to Star Wars fans for this year’s Star Wars Day, May the Fourth.  Tales of The Empire looks to the other side for its stories, with six episodes featuring Morgan Elsbeth, the villain most recently seen in live-action in the Ahsoka series.  Former Jedi Bariss Offee will also be featured, along with Grand Admiral Thrawn, General Grievous, and Darth Vader.
