This weekend Disney’s D23 convention in Brazil revealed two new trailers for 2025 Marvel Studios movies. Thunderbolts* sees the return of Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian (and her dad), and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster–all from Black Widow, two characters from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes and Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent, and as a bonus there’s Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, the villain from Ant-Man and The Wasp, plus Marvel newcomer Lewis Pullman, who has been everywhere lately, making his first appearance as Marvel Comics character Sentry.

If you’ve read the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan novels, and seen the two movies starring Harrison Ford as Ryan, you’ll no doubt see the novel Debt of Honor in this trailer for Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World. In Debt of Honor, DC was destroyed and Ryan became President of the United States, only movie audiences never saw Ford play that role since Debt of Honor was never adapted to film. Ford plays the same Ross that the late William Hurt played, his daughter played by Liv Tyler way back in the second Hulk movie. She’s back on the cast list, and Anthony Mackie is back, too, starring as Captain America, with newcomers to the franchise Tim Blake Nelson and Giancarlo Esposito. Now for the first time we see Harrison Ford as the U.S. President aka the Red Hulk.

Thunderbolts* looks a lot more fun. Captain America: Brave New World arrives in theaters February 14, 2025. Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters May 2, 2025.
