
We’ve discussed several genre tie-in games at borg, like Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons and Stranger Things Trivial Pursuit. We’ve even seen games cross over with other games before, especially with Dungeons & Dragons, like when it incorporated characters and environments of Magic: The Gathering. The latest board game adds a new twist for fans of the Horrified board game. Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons is the latest installment for fans of the Ravensburger game of strategy and monsters. Horrified is a cooperative board game for 1 to 5 players, released in 2019, where players must confront each of seven iconic monsters made famous as the Universal Studios Monsters. Previous expansions include Greek Monsters (Minotaur, Cerberus, Chimera, Medusa, Basilisk, Siren), the World of Monsters (Sphinx, Yeti, Jiangshi, Cthulhu), and American Monsters (Bigfoot, Mothman, the Chupacabra, and more). It’s fun gameplay for any family to take on and complete in about an hour.

In the D&D version players embark on a journey in the Forgotten Realms featuring some of your favorite heroes and monsters. inspired by Dungeons & Dragons. Under license by Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast division, the game not only takes place in the Forgotten Realms, but it incorporates a d20 into the Horrified rules.
