Happy New Year!
It’s that time again, time to take a look forward at what you want on your movie and TV radar for 2024. These are the shows from genredom we think borg readers will want to know about–In all we pulled 50 movies from the hundreds of films that have been finalized or are in varying stages of final production and slated for this year’s movie calendar–along with 42 TV series. Compare the below list to our 2023 list, 2022 list, 2021 list, 2020 list, 2019 list and even the 2018 list, 2017 list, 2016 list, 2015 list, or 2014 list, and you’ll see fewer big movies as Hollywood shifts its dollars to streaming TV series, although services like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Max, and Paramount+ continue to offer up big actors and filmmakers for major releases. So don’t look for any blockbuster movies this year from Warner Bros.’ DC Comics tie-ins, or from Disney franchises Star Wars or Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, but don’t fret: Sony incredibly has five Marvel Studios superhero movies coming your way.

Some movies and TV series don’t have release dates but are expected in 2024, including Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-verse, The Old Guard 2, Tulsa King, Quantum Leap, and Orphan Black: Echoes–we’ll include a complete list of those at the end.
Grab your calendar and sit back for more than 50 trailers–here are All the Movies and TV Series You’ll Want to See in 2024:
